Our Heritage
In the year 1985, the wise founders of Vijay Educational Society recognised a dearth of good paramedical educational institutions for courses like Nursing, BPT and B.Sc (MLT).
The vacuum was filled with the birth of VIMS — a very welcome and timely move, like providing a pot of water to a parched traveller. VIMS set a trend for others to follow. It created innovative teaching modules for students aiming for paramedical courses, and through its integrated coaching programme, has found success from the year of its inception.
Vijay Educational Society started its journey with Vijay Niketan at Vijayawada in 1973. Today, VES runs general, nursing and paramedical institutions spread across the entire district and the state, with a presence of nearly 50 years.

Computer Lab
The Computer Laboratory supports students in developing essential digital and academic skills. Students can use technology for academic learning, presentations, research, documentation, online educational resources, and professional development.
Maternal & Child Health Lab
The Obstetrics and Gynaecology Laboratory provides students with practical exposure to antenatal care, postnatal care, maternal health, newborn care, reproductive health, and essential obstetric nursing procedures.
Nursing Foundation Lab
The Nursing Foundation Laboratory provides a structured environment for students to learn and practice fundamental nursing procedures. Students develop skills in bed making, vital signs, personal hygiene, patient positioning, medication administration, basic procedures, and patient care techniques.
Medical Surgical Nursing Lab
The Medical-Surgical Nursing Laboratory helps students develop practical skills required for caring for patients with medical and surgical conditions. Students receive hands-on training in clinical procedures, patient assessment, wound care, medication administration, emergency care, and various nursing techniques.
Community Health Nursing Lab
The Community Health Nursing Laboratory prepares students to provide effective nursing care beyond the hospital setting. Students learn about home visits, community assessment, health education, family health care, environmental health, health promotion, and disease prevention.
Nutrition Lab
The Nutrition Laboratory provides practical learning related to balanced diets, therapeutic diets, meal planning, food preparation, nutritional assessment, and dietary education. Students learn how proper nutrition contributes to disease prevention and patient recovery.
